To get my kayak from the back yard to the front yard to load was a problem. The kayak cart was the solution. I wanted the hull to me cradled for stability. The cart is made from 1 1/2" PVC pipe fittings. Wheels are 10" from Harbor Freight ($4.99 each) with 5/8" axle. A stabilizer is attached to front of the axle so that cart sits in the proper position for loading. Complete assembly was filled with expending urethane foam for extra rigidity. Hull rests on two 2" wide nylon straps. The kayak is secured by a nylon strap tiedown (red). Works great and rolls easy through the grass.
