Frank Sez This is the signature fish from a great Delaware River float trip I took this past Memorial Day weekend. I was on the northern section just past the Rout 84 Bridge near Port Jervis NY. I was using a #1 blaze orange mepps spinner with buck tail to knock them dead all day, this was the biggest at 17 inches 3.5 lbs. Using my ultralight Ugly Stick and 6lb test line he gave me quite a fight. I paddle an Old Town Dirigo 120, angler edition.

Me and a couple buddies have a site dedicated to paddle angling (paddangle.com) where we share our kayak/canoe fishing stories and photos. We are mostly freshwater rivers and lakes in the NY Tri-state area. Check it out!
Frank.
