Default hobie seat

My Hobie seat comes loose. Is there a secret to getting the screw expanders to hold better? Like plumbers tape or etc?

Thanks;

Dooryak

Dooryak, did you ever get a response to your question regarding the expanders? Mine just started the same thing. Quite a nuisance.

Scott: no response yet. I was hoping to have it in the water by now, but winter is not letting go in WI. Another problem I'm having is the straps are chaffing my thighs. I want to move the clip outward. We'll see when the ice goes out and I can try different things.
