CDM Newport night time

Launched with the last hint of light in the sky and paddled out and south to try the kelp first. Nothing doing, went tight to the beach to see if the grunion run held any action, nada. Wind made it tough to stay outside the surf, so we headed inside and fish the channel and moorings before calling it a night about midnight. I was anxious to try the Bugz Custom Baits (I recently stocked all the color combos offered in 1/2 and 3/4 oz) I will be tossing these alot. especially at night.
