Silver Canyon Landing, Catalina

Anybody have experience with Sliver Canyon Landing on the back side of Catalina?

Can you land and camp there?

What did the shops on the island say about camping there? I thought Google Earth may show alot more, but there is cloud cover over that side of the island so I can't even see the landing name let alone the campground

There is no established, recognized camping at Silver Canyon Landing listed ina ny Catalina camping guides or sites. However it looks on map and satellite to be a place you get to shore safely unless there is a south swell / storm.
