Wed. Oct 4 - Free evening seminar, 6:30 at the Kayak Center - How to Select
Your Kayak and Gear. "You'll learn all the technical information you need to
make an easy decision about selecting a kayak, paddle and PFD. We answer
your questions about design, performance, material, construction and prices.
Bring your note pad and take home brochures and ideas galore."

Sat. Oct. 7 Fun and Free Demo Day at the Newport Dunes 8:30am-12 noon. Our
monthly day to try lots of kayak models and lots of paddles. Everyone
welcome.
Please call first to confirm date, time and place. The Dunes charges a
parking fee.

Sat. and Sun Oct. 14 & 15 Used Kayak and Gear Sale at the Kayak Center.
9am-5pm
Once-a-year we lay out 30-40 kayaks in our parking lot for a great sale. We
also have lots of used gear (paddles, PFDs, seats, wet suits and more) from
our rental and lesson fleet.

And some prices on specific kayaks suitable for fishing. Prices are cash or
check/credit card.

Every Sunday we update the list on our web site, complete with pictures of
most of the kayaks. There are now about 45 on the list. Of course, kayaks
are available for sale NOW and might be sold prior to the Oct. 14-15 event.
