What kayak to get for fishing, if you did it all over again

Hello, just registerd to this site.

My and my wife are looking at getting kayaks. We live in michigan.

Which one would you get for all around, fishing and just paddling down a river for the fun of it. I would say mostly cruisling on inland lakes.
I myself would be mostly fishing
Which one would you buy if you had to do it all over again (hind sight 20/20)

Just fishing or multi

Single person or tandem (we have two kids, 14 and 10)
