Seal Beach 11-24
Headed out into cool light west winds to look for halibut, the wind current and tide made setting a drift almost impossible. After an hour the wind shifted out of the east and got colder though the drift improved and I picked up a sand bass on the 1 oz Western plastic skirted head Uni Buttered up. The Flukes were not working this morning so switched the other rod to a 1oz Hornet head with a Reebs grub for this sandie. The bite was really slow headed in at 8:15 slow trolling the Hornet and picked up another sandie half way in the jetty. By the time I landed my feet even with the bootties on felt like giant ice cubes and took about an hour to thaw out. Time to clean and sort all the tackle till the weather passes maybe by the weekend if the wind holds off………………… |

Re: Seal Beach 11-24
Unload at Neptune and Ocean park(check signs one side is 1hr parking) then drag the yak down near the North Anahiem Bay jetty and time the launch with the waves. Summer is he best time to hit it for the winter waves are alot tougher.
