6-17 whew
We worked our way down to the bridge for the tour of the area as I know it. The spottie fishing was of the hook I had over 15 with only a couple of sand bass. The spotties were all 1 to 2 1/2 lbs. Used the 3" Big Hammers on 3/8 oz heads and the Zoom Flukes with Uni Butter. We caught fish in water from 3' to 16' of water. A great morning landed back at OEX at 1:30 had a great time fishing with Ray. When I got of the water Andy ask if I got his text I hadn't soooooooooo I read it went home piced up some heavier tackle ate lunch and joined Andy for a trip to Launched 6:30 pm and fished till 12:00 the waves were not bad and the wind was manageable wasn't able to make any squid myself though Andy gave me on which pinned on a white and glow sumo jr and fished it amongst the fleet of boats and kayaks with no takers. Did see one fish landed landed the new Trident 13 in the surf with no problems. 13 hrs on the water WHEW what a great day being retired sure has it benefits.
