San Diego Bay July2.2006
What a day I have been hearing that the bass are going off in the bay, and I got an invite from Robert and decided to head on down. We would be heading out with his Bro, and our friends Beachum and his wife Jackie both who are frequent posters here. We launched about 6am and as soon as we dropped we were on the bass in multiples. Some were legals and some were shorts, but the chew was on. The wind came up early which sucked when trying to stay in a good drift pattern of any duration, but we managed to catch a slew of bass. We were off the water early and had to rough it through steak kabobs and hot wings, it was rough but somebody had to do it. Shot of Paul: Perry

Re: San Diego Bay July2.2006
Perry,
It was a great time. Too bad the wind picked up early. We did manage to kick some bass today though, and as usual we didn't starve. Here are a few pics: It was kind of trippy how the fog rolled in and out a few times! We'll have to do it again soon! Robert |
