Default Steve Moyer Memorial 2007

La Jolla Kayak Fishing - Fifth Annual
Steve Moyer Memorial Kayak Fishing Tournament
September 8th 2007
All proceeds to the American Cancer Society

Jim Sammons message to registered and potential participants:
Our big event of the year is only three weeks away and we are working
hard to once again make this the premier Charity kayak fishing event in
the nation.
We have great sponsors on board once again like Ocean Kayak, Wilderness
Systems, Hobie kayaks,
Malibu kayak, Old Town Canoe and Kayak, Maui
Jim and Lots more. We will be giving away kayaks to the winners of four
different divisions and tons of prizes in our raffle. As a slight twist
this year we will also be holding an on-line auction for a new fully
rigged and outfitted Ocean Kayak Prowler Trident, complete with seat,
paddle, rod holders, fish finder and Shimano bait tank. This package is
worth well over $2500 dollars. The Auction will begin on August 25th and
will close at 3:00pm on the day of the event. We will have online
access at the site of the weigh-in for those wishing to bid on this great
prize. The auction will be open to anyone but the kayak must be picked up
in
San Diego. This great prize is compliments of the California Ocean
kayak dealers.
Every entrant in the event will also receive a prize pack including an
event T-shirt, Fishtrap lures, Reebs lures, Uni-butter, Maui Jim cup
coozy and more, Entry will also get you a killer lunch provided by the
Moyer family.
All proceeds from the Moyer Memorial, raffle and auction will go to the
American Cancer Society. I hope we will see you all there.
For more information about the Moyer Memorial tournament and auction
please visit our online forums.
If you plan on entering the tournament, please do so ASAP. It really
helps in our planning to make this a great event.

If you have any questions about the event please feel free to contact
me directly

Thumbs up Re: Steve Moyer Memorial 2007

Hank,
I know I'll be out of town that weekend finishing up a house I'm painting. If any of you guys wants to buddy up and fish a tourney like one Kiyo or Drew throws, lemme know. When the DPKFM finally has one, I'd fish that one also. On another note, anyone planning on fishing Drews in September at Dana?

Perry

I've fished Baytubers a few months back. I'd like to give it another shot soon with better results. It was my first kayak fishing trip at Redondo and I couldn't buy a bite to save my life. I know good and well there are some huge Flatties in the area just aching to be caught. Why not by me?
