Gotta See This! 2 Bass on the Same Lure

Caught these two bass on one cast while kayak fishing with reporter Rick Windham out of North Platte. Caught one bass on each hook. I thought I had a pretty good sized bass until I saw the first one show up on the weeds. Thought he fought pretty good then I noticed another one on the other side. They were caught simultaneously in a little inlet in some willows. What a surprise!

I got 2 bonito at one time on a Rattletrap at La Jolla. It kind of freaked me out
too.

That's cool Robert. Can I use that picture on another forum with mine? We'll see how many fishermen have had this happen. I fished all my life and never had it happen until yesterday. They both hit it at the same time on the topwater.

Can't wait to get out there this summer. San Diego is where I grew up fishing the Bay, Shelter Island Pier, Oceanside Pier, La Jolla, Carlsbad, and a lot of ocean fishing in boats. I am bringing my largest yak out with me. Hoping to hook up with some of you guys.

Jack, we had that happen a few times on a bass trip last year.

Both photos are of fish caught on the same lure, same cast. Like you said, we each thought we had monster bass util we got them to the boat and saw two on, pretty crazy.

Even better, I caught my two fish on the same type blue/chrome rattletrap that Robert caught his fish on

Thanks Robert Just wanted to show my friends here in Nebraska that fish do come in pairs occasionally. Still blows my mind.
