Hey Perry,
Looks like Cabrillo! How do you like the Mariner? I was just looking at it at Cobra website! At Cobra they call it the Marauder! Lightweight, super-easy to load, but the capacity is rated at 475 lbs! I won't be able to catch a fish bigger than 125 lbs. if I take my bait tank! Let's see ..... Jerry+ bait tank + tackle, seat,
lunch...+ 125 lb thresher = 475 lbs!....Duhhh.....the Cobra Mariner personal submarine! Does it come in yellow? I've always like the yellow submarine song! BTW, Is it as fast as it looks? What about stability? Thanks, Perry Jerry/Piranha out!

Jerry,
Yes, that be Cabrillo. Originally it was called the Mariner, but Cobra changed the name to Marauder after a short bit. It does carry a good amount of weight in them which is nice when guys our size start carrying bait tanks and such. It doesn't quite have the initial stability of the Fish-N-Dive, but it has alot more glide to it which is very noticeable. It's a really good hull under it with nice rocker and that so it takes waves and chop pretty well also. I have a newer one I just picked up this week with a extended cockpit in it and a bit wider footwells I'm going to be paddling for awhile. When we're fishing sometime, I'll let you hop in it and take it for a cruise and check it out. TC&TL,
Perry

Thanks Perry, It's about time I got a boat that'll deal with the Dana gale winds better! One more question! Did you get it from our friendly dealer in Sunset Beach, or elsewhere? Jerry/Piranha

Jerry,
I didn't get it from Kenny over at Sunset Rentals. If I was buying one though in OC, I would get it from him hands down though. Actually, a friend loaned it to me . Can't wait to hoist up a halibut on board and break it in. See 'ya soon,
Perry
