Started late having spent a few days removing and replacing a bad Eagle transducer and cable. Hit the water at 11:00 the sun was shining and I was sweating on the paddle down to the bridge. Haven’t fished the area in awhile and thought I would check it out. The water was 68.2 and a light wind was blowing onshore. The tide was flat as I arrived though soon turned to incoming. Stayed inbounds and cast under the bridge got the Calico and 2 Spotties and headed to the north boundary to catch 4 more spotties.





Then the drop-off along the wetlands got me the biggest Spottie of the day along with 2 more. The wind had come up and it was chilling down so I headed in to Simple Green and started the drift on the incoming tide. Only one more fish in the channel and docks along the main channel then moved into the channel headed up to OEX. Finished the day picking through the docks for 3 more fish to end the day at 14.





Nothing big but a lot of fun, caught more fish today than in months but no big ones. Fished the Zoom Flukes and Creature baits on sled heads dipped in UNI BUTTER. By the time I landed at 4:30 it felt more like winter headed to 7-11 for a cup of coffee.
