Solana Beach Surf Report 5/27
Started fishing around 8:15 A.M. Gloomy morning. Wind out of the South
around 10-12 mph. Surf was a friggin washing machine loaded with kelp and eel grass. Piles of kelp and eel grass all up and down the beach. Every cast I made the line got fouled with salad. Walked down the beach about 200 yards and it was the same everywhere. 1 dink perch on the camo fish crack save me from a skunk. The conditions totaly sucked! The good thing was that I got to fish with my new rod. It worked great. Left at 9:30. I'll try it again next weekend. Robert
