So glad to get back out. It's been a while. Gonna finally try "Long Lining" out of Shelter Island and just drift the outgoing tide. Hoping to see lots off Spotties and Sandies. Anybody been out lately? Whats working?

What time do you plan on launching?

I have heard the incoming tide is usually best but I dont really want to fish in the dark. So looks like the tide moves out after 8:30am. So I'm planning on launching by 9. I'd love some company if you in the area.

I might be able to make it out. If I do ill be launching a little earlier do you have a vhf?
