Ok,
Hopefully the wind will die down and make drifting a reality again. I'm looking at heading out in Newport and company is welcome. It's going to be an early afternoon launch from 15th st or Coast Guard Beach with targeted species being bass or halibuts and whatever else wants to bite. Either shoot me a PM or reply and I'll catch up with you or if you have another location in mind, speak up or shoot me a PM.

If I don't make it to the Baytubers tourney, I may just meet up with you there.

New to the site. I'll be fishing Newport Saturday as well. I'll be launching from the CG station around 7-730. Look forward to meeting you if I see you.

Al,
Welcome to the website I/we are going to be doing an afternoon launch somewhere about 3ish because of the tides. I'll be in my Mango MK ProExplorer taking it on it's maiden voyage, and doing some prefishing for TPN's kayak fishing series they have starting soon.

What type of kayak will you be in?

Hope to see you there,
Perry

Thanks for the welcome Perry!! I'll be in a orange Perception. I have to work Sat night and My son has a Basketball game at 330 so I have to fish early and be back in Bakersfield in time for the game. We'll meet up on the water one of these days. I'll be fishing the trail also. I'm pre fishing MB next month to get an idea of that fishery. Good luck out there!!
