Well...........I checked my big fish weight and it is incorrect. It was actually 1 lb, 10 oz instead of 1lb 1oz. No big deal really. I think in the interest of keeping a level playing field we should slightly modify the weight verification and documentation process just a little bit.

In my opinion, the only sure-fire way to do this is with carbon copy weight slips issued to the angler at the time of weigh in. That way everyone knows what weight they weighed and it is documented in the weigh book. IF something is incorrect it is caught at that moment and not afterwards.

However, that said ............ please DO NOT change or otherwise alter my results. Let them stand as they are. This is supposed to be fun and any after-the-fact saber rattling will just lead to more problems and who needs that!!

I can't wait for the next tourney at Dana........I'm turning right instead of left at that one!!!! LOL

No the weight sheet has .14 and 1.4

Angel it was a typing error though your total and the fact your brothers fish was bigger does not change.

Joesph and Paul the oversight ia being taken care of.


As for the weight sheets you have to remember the boats are volunteers with out whom you would have to keep your fish alive till you land so be thankful as I am that some do stand up to help us out . Everyone is doing the best that they can I with old eyes and using the computer at OEX when there is enough calm.

I agree with your comments. The weigh boat persons are volunteers and God Bless them for doing that thankless task. Let the ball roll; we learn from our mistakes and keep on truckin!!!
