Newbie looking for a good fishing kayak
I am looking for the best fishing kayak I can buy with 1,000 dollars. I have looked around and have thought about the heritage redfish 12, or emotion grand slam angler.....but, I just don't know enough about either to make a decision....If anyone has any suggestions between the two, or a suggestion for what I should get please let me know.... - A little about where and how I fish.... I usually fish rivers, sometimes the current is moderately fast, but not too over powering. I fish mostly for smallmouth and largemouth, and would like something that is stable, has a place for a livewell, and that I could possibly stand up on...(I don't think that is too much to ask) If anyone has suggestions...Again, please help me out! I am ready to do this! |

Re: Newbie looking for a good fishing kayak
I'd test paddle a few out to see if that's the one for me.

Re: Newbie looking for a good fishing kayak
The Prowler Big Game takes some beating when it comes to stability, comfort and load capacity, with the space avialable for a centre hatch it would be easy enough to fit an internal bait well. BUT it is a big lump to paddle, drag or load onto your car.
Try before you buy is sound advice. Bb |
