I have caught yellows from boat on paddies but never from the kayak and this fish was pulling hard and with no buoys or kayaks near I took my time the rod doubled over slowly working the fish up got to color it was bigger than any paddy fish I ever caught. Got the gaff ready the yellow decided to make another run then that was it gaffed and in my lap WOW! Fat yellow defiantly a PB. During the fight my FF quite working and with the fish on the kayak I paddled around saying high and watching others fight fish. Headed in at 9 with Andy and Gabe with my 25lb yellow first on the Iron and first on the yak what a great day on the water. At the beach talked to a lot of others that all got nice fish …………………….
