Destin FL kayak fishing, NEED TIPS!!

Taking a trip too Destin Florida at the end of March. Staying at Top Sail hill state park. Never fished Destin before, bay or offshore. Going to be 4 people. Me, in a wilderness ride 115x max, i have fished inshore in the Atlantic before. The other 3 have 0 salt water exp. We normally fish rivers and lakes. Two will be in Ascend D10Ts (10 ft sit on top kayaks) and then a wilderness tarpon 100. Any tips on what to do and what not todo are greatly appreciated. Any spots to fish in Destin waters and in the bay and inshore are also greatly appreciated, especially if you tell me what to use!! Thanks very much!
