If you are looking for better charting, check the SonarCharts from navionics. you can get involved and see the results on smart devices (iPhone, iPad, Android) They just added a new in app purchase called NAV+ and you get 1 year of unlimited chart updates and the SonarCharts included.

Just added Lowrance elite7 update 2.0 this weekend it will now show me the SonarCharts on my NAV+ Chip. you need to check this out. Added some areas on the Susquehanna River that where never their before. This is cool stuff.
