First Ocean fish from kayak.... fail....

hey everyone new member here and i wanted to share my video of the first ocean fish i had caught ... please help me find better ways to land kings ... any help would be great!!!

Sorry about your loss. It would seem that the fish was still green , and a large net or gaff would have been a better bet. Handing off the rod was not a good idea either,better to play it longer and wait. The shorter the line,the easier it breaks;no stretch left to help.

Thanks for the advise ... i have purchased a Gaff since then and am excited for the spring run to fill the freezer!
