Default While Perry was in BB we were at PV...

Headed up to PV this morning with Lee (after Perry informed me he was in Big Bear for the weekend).

Hit Fermin just as the sun rose and we had a pretty much WFO bite on 1-3lb fish. Caught close to 20 and lost twice as many in less than 1 hour between the two of us. Then as fast as it started, it shut off.

We hung around a bit longer than usual after the bite stopped as we each had $10 on which guy was gonna get washed off the rocks trying to fish off Fermin today. Those guys are frickin crazy when the waves are breaking all the way up the cliff!

We hit a couple of spots up to Vicente for a few here and there.
Water was 64-67 from Long Beach to Vincent. Still TONS of bait in the entire area.

Lee with one of his better fish today

No big fish but a fun day with not much wind and not too many other folks fishing.

Ed

Ed,
Sorry for not being able to pound the bass with you today, but we all got home from our trip safe and sound. But hey, what's Lee doing in your spot? I'm going to be looking at Ebay for one of the larger Curado's to see if I can find a good one. Talk to you soon,

Perry

Ed,
Sounds like a fun trip! There should be some white seabass in that area soon
I would bet.

Robert,

I think you may be on to something

A friend of mine fished up that way last week and nailed this beast, on a swimbait on light bass gear.

His first legal WSB and he actually released the fish after the photo!!
