Thumbs down Wilderness Pungo and Saltwater Fishing

I'm about to embark on a new adventure, saltwater fishing from my Wilderness Pungo. I have rod holders on order and a fishing bag along with some other accessories. (I'm a positive thinker when it comes to the fishing bag).

I was wondering:
1. Are there others who do this in the South Jersey area (near ocean city, NJ).
2. Since I'm new at Kayak Fishing (been a fisherman since I was a kid), what should I prepare for while fishing in the back bays and inlet?
3. What are the best places to go in South Jersey?

Thank you in advance!

Hey Stephen,

I am new to the sport as well, so my advice is pretty limited. However I would suggest you check out this video below on "The 3 Golden Rules of Kayak Fishing." It gives 3 tips that may seem like no brainers, but are nice to know.

You can also check out the other videos offered by Kayak Fishing Tales that are both informative and interesting. Hope this video helps you some and good luck on the water!
