Default SD bay bridge

This was last week when all that wind and neg current swing was around.. Had plenty of spotties and one monster halibut of 6 inches.. not a bad day. I hid in he pockets bc those gusts of air will tip you over if you arent careful. Waiting for that construction at LJ to finish so I can prowl on some Ghosts and tails. Figured I couldnt waste a good tide change. All on pillar 11 and 13 and shallows on the upswing.

Hi, I'm about to move to san diego but I have yet to buy a kayak and accesories. I have a few poles (ugly stik) and a hoop net. I need advise on what type of kayak is best for beginers and some pointers on fishing for halibut/ possibly some good spots. Any info would help. Thanks

I weigh 202 and I'm 5 6. I'm 21 so a heavier kayak won't be a problem. I'm new to this so I'm very interested in any info available. Thanks in advance
