Re: Sand dabs
Jim,
Kings Harbor is supposed to be good for 'dabs. I've caught most of mine right outside the mouth of Newport about half way to the seal buoy on the bottom using squid strips and cutbait. Once I found them, there was bunches of them in an area. Hope to fish with you soon, Perry

Re: Sand dabs
small pieces of shrimp also good - any flat, sandy area (I like about 50' of water). In past could use a large ring with a hundred hooks and bring up bunches at a time - now you are probably limited to 2 hooks.

Re: Sand dabs
sandy areas
rig it up with many hooks simple dropper loops will work drop them down with shrimp flies (tipped with squid) dont bring it up on the first strike just set the hook wait until there are a few on the end of your hook then bring it up srry it posted late but maybe will help next time TIGHT LINES |
