new yak info
I,m looking to buy 2 fishing kayaks in the spring. I,m new to this and live in northern ontario, canada. So the selection up here is pretty small. Every thing I,ve watched on-line seems to be sit-on-top kayaks and that seems like a good idea to me. I can get a Wilderness Systems Tarpon or a Mad River Synergy kayak. I,ve found several reviews on the tarpon and they were all good. Can anyone enlighten me on the Mad River Synergy? I've fished all my life but my back won't let me paddle my canoe for long. I have tried 3 different kayaks(all sit-ins) and the back support and paddling position don't seem to bother me. Any one with back problems out there kayaking? Thanks. Arn |

Re: new yak info
Wilderness makes a great boat. I would go with that one. There is probably a reason that you cant find much on the other boat.

Re: new yak info
Not many Mad River kayaks around South Cal, not sure... Wilderness is better established brand. Try as many different ones as you can is the best advice you can get. Do your research:
