kayakfishing event on Lolland
So we once decided to organize a meeting were we will exchange our experiances and interests. Further on we will try to absolve a common safety training and ....very important: try to catch some seatrouts and codfish. In the evening we´l be flyfishing for mullets, and, if the weather is toooo bad, we´ll have some tiny coups of wisky  .If anyone of you would come to Germany... he really should contact us for a common fishing-tour. Now our first meeting of kajakanglers is over. it was very interesting to meet other guys practicing this kind of fishing. Most of the people met for the first time, and everybody was lucky about this event. The first day we had no chance to go fishing with our kajaks because of the conditions, wich were really bad. ( about 6 Bft and Waves up to about 1,5 m). So we took the time to talk about riggings, kayaktools and security.
This all took place at the fishing lodge of a friend of mine Georg and his wife Regina. In the evening we tried wadefishing.... without success. The next day was much friendlier and we had the chance to go offshore with our kayaks for fishing cod and seatrout...no fish  but much fun, especially with some of the guys, who never sat in a kayak before. They all were astonished about the stability of fishing kayaks. The following brands were there: ocean drifter, DAG Taiki, Perception freedom, Rotomod Tango and one sit in kayak.Everybody had the chance to paddel the boat he wanted to. In the evening it became very hugly after an oppulant supper with wild boar and other nice things, like whiskey, beer and cigars. All at all we decided to repeat this meeting next may. Meanwhilei+fe heard about anglers, who are trying to buy kayaks, so we will be about 20 kayakanglers next time...I hope. Peter
