Default Shelter Island -9/1

Felt like a slice of bacon on the griddle, it was sizzling out there! Very hot and humid on Saturday.

We fished Shelter. Launched was scenic.

Fishing was very good a lot of the big boys were biting. Almost no small ones were on the prowl.

The police kept busy knocking the bird crap off the poles. Sure stunk like you know what afterwards.

Started to get a little crazy out there, couple of large sail boats and a power boat were having a squirt gun fight just past the Shelter Island pier, time to call it a day.

When we landed around 12:30 the sand felt like a gazillion degrees. It was probably the fastest we've ever put everything in the car and got the yaks secured just to get in some AC.

All in all it was a nice day on the bay.
