Default Fishing on Fri 29 (night) Report

Wow what a great night. I Fished with Sea Eagle and his son Robert. Doug shot a great video as always. I had a blast fishing with them until all hours of the night. We didn't catch are average of 20 fish each but it still was awesome. After 10:30 we had the harbor to ourselves. When the winds died down i couldn't believe how still the water was. Fished until 1:00 AM

Here are some pictures of that night

Pete,
Thanks for the report and great photos. I love night fishing during the summer especially when the wind dies down and the water glasses over. It is one of my favorite times on the water. For me, it's still the float tube for awhile longer but in a few weeks I'll be able to do nights like I planned before I was so rudely interrupted. I might get adventurous and take out the fly rod and turn the difficulty up one more notch

FF,
I injured my bicep tenon about a month ago and it's still no bueno for loading, paddling a kayak or anything strenuous. The float tube still enables me to fish, just have to give up the distance. My kayaks are fine, they're just in "Dry Dock" for awhile and hopefully it won't be too long.

Would one of the racks with the slide bars (out to the side) help? I keep thinking that I may need one eventually for my Hobie (had a bad elbow for few months early this year). If you can lift up one end at a time it would help.

Duh! now you NEED a Hobie.
