Default Chuckin' Iron at Catalina wit da boyz

What did the boyz wanna do after spending a week in the Sierras, well go to Catalina of course!

Made it to the front side by 8am and it was like summer over there

Water 71 and the air felt like it was about 80! Threw the swimbaits for a few nice fish and then switched to the iron and never went back. Got a couple 'o nice 3-5lb fish on the front side and then decided to move around the west end.

Ryan said he wants to learn about throwing the iron and we held a little class. We ended up with about 15 more fish before the wind picked up and we headed back to try PV by about noon.

Just as we reached the West End I had two monster yellowtail swim right by the boat but they wanted nothing to do with any of our offerings.

Threw iron along a few areas for only 2 followers and 1 barracuda. Water from the golf course to Fermin was about 70 degrees.

TONS of bait at the islands, in the channel and at PV yesterday.
