Catalina Friday
Hit the backside of the island and managed a few nice bass on the secret bait Ran out of fish to catch so we headed to the frontside and watched the fog roll over the hills Stayed till about 10pm and caught a few of these Limits for 2 A bit of a sketchy crossing back home with fog mid-channel with no visible points of reference. GOOD TIMES!!! Ed

Re: Catalina Friday
Ed,
Thanks for the report as always I'm glad you guys usually go some distance for your bugs, so the rest of us have something to hoop for,LOL. I think you may in serious danger of withdrawls after next week my friend, and you've earned the special title of "Bugmeister" here. I'm going to try out my new Diawa Coastal tomorrow and I'll post if I manage to drag something in, the tides look pretty good Talk to you soon, Perry

Re: Catalina Friday
Bugmeister??? Not me.
I just consider myself very fortunate to have a bunch of friends that were willing to teach me the "ropes" (pun intended) and show me a few secret spots for hooping. All I did was pay for gas, drive the boat, load traps full of dead fish and pull up traps that weighed 100lbs Can't wait till next season though Ed
