new to kayaking
my name is jason shapiro and i am new to kayak fishing. I do not own a kayak yet but would like to buy one soon. I was wondering if someone could tell me the best kayak to buy or rent for a major beginner. I have kayaked before in the ocean but have never fished from one. I am 16 and have limited resources to get a kayak, but hopefully I can get one used. Thanks jason |

Re: new to kayaking
Jason,
Welcome to our website With what you said, something along the lines of a Malibu Kayaks Pro Explorer or similar model may be a good fit for you, or a Cobra or Ocean Kayaks brand also. Our "kayak models" section here has alot of models listed with specs and what not for them. To demo one of the Malibu's, you could goto OEX in San Diego(I believe) or in Orange County or the Malibu Kayaks store in Sunset Beach, a they always have a off season rental kayak sale. You can visit them online at http://hookedonkayaks.com Hope this helps, Perry
