Kayak Fishing Tournament Trail Dates - 2007

Hey all,

We've settled up with dates for the trail next year, it's going to be bigger than ever with our partnership with WON. The sponsors are already signing up and the first tourney isn't until April!


1. Mission Bay - April 14th 7am – 2pm (Fastlane Sailing – Hobie Shop)
2. Newport Dunes - June 3rd 7am -2pm (Southwind)
3. La Jolla – July 14th 6am – 1pm
4. Dana Pt – Sept 15th 6am - 1pm
5. Newport Harbor – Oct 27th 7am – 2pm (Southwind multi-point launch)
6. SD Bay – Dec 8th 7am – 2pm – (Final Classic Event)

3 in the OC, 3 in SD. Guaranteed $1,001 for first place but will almost certainly be more at ever event. Angler of the Year award (cumulative points system throughout the year) will be at least $2,500. Thanks to Perry for his support of the trail!

It's our pleasure to post this and support your events. I talked to Rik and he sounded like he was going to try to make them, and I already told the the planning committee that I need those days off to fish with my fellow yakkers. I dunno about you, but I feel a lucky raffle ticket heading my way
