Default Lake Perris Tues 5-30-06

Well,
Had so mucccch fun at Lake Perris last week in the tube, decided I had to do it again. Being Tuesday I didn't think there would be any ski boats on the water.....not quite right on that account. Met up with Craig whom I saw there tubing last week again, and gave it a go for a morning. There was no blanket of haze blocking the suns rays this time, so at 7:00am, it was pretty bright on the water. Tried to start a bit deeper out which proved a good choice. The weedline is still thick too close to shore. Got a few rodeo fish that did a self release after clearing the water a few times. But, landed a few who haven't learned how to jump out of the water and shake the hook out yet.

Cookie cutter bass:

One thick bass:

After a few hours, I wanted to go across the lake and try Bersconi Beach and launch area. Much to my dismay, the gates were locked, so I guess I'll have to come another time and try that area

PerryC.
