Perry and I fished Mission Bay today. We launched a little after 7:00 A.M. from Dana Landing. The conditions were beautiful. Slightly overcast with little to no wind. There was a bunch of numskulls practicing for some rowing competition. We had to dodge them for a while. We picked up a couple of fish and headed over to fish the area near the sailing center.
I looked down in the water and there were hundreds of jellyfish under my kayak. They were pretty cool looking. We headed back to another spot and started catching fish again. The fishing was good! The wind never picked up until just before we left. Surprisingly there was very little boat and jet ski traffic today and that always makes for a good day of fishing in the kayak. ![]() ![]() Robert |
