San Diego Saltwater Bass Showdown 2007 Schedule
There will be 4 qualifying tournament & a fish-off. Schedule: March 31st: Mission Bay (5 best spotted bass with *optional halibut pool) Weigh-in at Ski Beach April 28th: Oceanside Harbor & off-shore (5 best spotted, calico or sand bass) Oceanside Launch Ramp (no boundary) May 12th: South San Diego Bay (5 best spotted and/or sand bass with *optional halibut pool) National City 24th Street (boundary Coronado Bay Bridge and all south bay unless posted) June 16th: San Diego Bay (5 best sand and/or calico bass) Shelter Island Launch Ramp (boundary San Diego Bay & Mexican border to north Solana Beach) Fish-off: July 28th: San Diego Bay (3 fish , 1 best calico, 1 sand and 1 spotted bay bass. Shelter Island Launch Ramp (San Diego bay & Mexican border to north Solana Beach. Mission Bay & Mexican waters off-limits). Fees: Entry fee for each tournament - $30/team ($25 from each team awarded at tournament, $5 held back for fish-off) Big fish options - $10/team/species (pay back 100% tournament day) One time Insurance fee $20/team (mandatory one time fee no matter when a team enters) The fish-off will cost $10/team that qualifies with a $10/species fish option pool. Quick Notes: A team will consist of 2 people fishing from one boat, 2 kayaks or two float tubes. This is an all artificial tournament series. No live or dead bait and no chumming. Each participant will fish with only one rod at a time. Complete tournament rules will be available with tournament applications. *Options pay back 100% and are entered into at a team's option. Pre-fishing can take place on tournament water up until 6PM the day before the tournament.
