kayakfishing in Germany
Hi together, I´m Peter from Germany and I´m practissing Kayakfishing since about one year. My Kayak is a DAG Taiki pèche.
It´s a french brand. They build these kayaks for tours on the rivers in southfrance. They are really very durable, light (23Kg) and handy. The length: 3,5 meter, the width: 83 cm. I first wasn´t shure if it would work for saltwater fishing. But meanwhile I got used to it and love my yak I´m mostly fishing in the baltic sea near Lübeck. We are fishing for Cods and Seatrouts. At the moment I didn´succeed to upload the pictures to this thread. BUt you can find them under postet photos.Look here:http://www.allkayakfishing.com/photo...ry.php/cat/501 Peter Last edited by Peter.Beckmann; 06-22-2008 at 11:48 AM. |

Re: kayakfishing in Germany
Welcome to the new AKF! I can see you got yourself some Fish and chips or weinersnitchel? Are you using live bait or jigs? Cold water I'd expect as well?

Re: kayakfishing in Germany
For fishing cod fish we use jigs and sometimes live bait..it´s depending on the circumstances wether, wind and temperature. Sometimes when everything runs perfect, we can also take the fly. That´s the most interesting way to fish from a kayak I think.
In our region you mostly have a water temperature under 18°C . The best conditions you have in springtime or late harvest, because then you can catch many different kinds of fish. greets Peter |
