Kayak Angler Online magazine looking for regional writers and photographers

Hi,

I’m the publisher of Kayak Angler magazine, which if you haven’t seen it, is full-color kayak fishing print magazine. You can check out a free digital version of it at: www.kayakangleronline.com/kayakanglermag_fall08

We’re now launching Kayak Angler Online (KAO), our new monthly magazine. Since our print mag is currently only published twice a year (we’re working on that too), KOA will allow us to keep you up-to-date on a monthly basis.

KOA allows us to work with more writers, anglers, events and clubs across the country. It allows us to bring more of your regional news, stories and events to a national audience.

I thought a bunch of you guys would be interested in writing for Kayak Angler Online (or the print mag too for that matter). Here’s a list of what we think it will look like, at least in the beginning:

To begin with KOA will include:
• 3-5 feature stories including gear features, headline news, profiles and the very best kayak fishing adventure writing
• Tactics, Hotspots and Skills regular columns
• Best of your Reader CPR (catch, photograph and release) submissions
• Breaking industry news
• Tournament news and tour schedule
