Hand Held Fish Finders
Greetings all, I'm in the market for a fish finder for kayak fishing. On eBay I've seen several hand-held and wrist products by Zebco, Hummingbird, Norcross and what appears to be Chinese knock-offs. Has anyone had experience with any of these?

Re: Hand Held Fish Finders
Welcome to our forums
The answer for myself to your question is unfortunatly no. I have never used or seen one used of the wrist or hand held FF units in my travels. In kayaks most of us that want a FF use the lower to medium cost ones and run them off a gel-cell and mount the puck inside the hull with an adhesive or at least a container for water. On float tubes, we usually run the lower cost units that are good enough to give us depth and bottom structure readings. Sorry about that. Perry
