New here, and new to yakking
Hey all, my name is Duane, and I have been a fly fisherman sence I could walk, but am new to this. the other day I was given a emotion spitfire from a good friend. He was too big for it, or so he said. It's small, 8 feet, SOT, with a bunggie area in the back. I have a few rod holders , and a rod and paddel leash on order. I want to set up an anchor, and what ever else is needed.....
Sence I am new to this, I am open to any idea's that anyone from here might have. Also if anyone knows of the yak that I know own, I would love to hear about it. Thank you, Duane |

Re: New here, and new to yakking
An anchor trolley allows you to locate your anchor to the bow or aft.It consist of a poly rope, two stainless pulleys and a carabiner. You connect a pulley at each end of your yak and run the rope through them.Tie each end of the rope to the carabiner. To use the system, you slip the anchor rope through the carabiner, pull the pulley rope to position where you want the anchor and tie off the anchor rope.
