1st post
Greeting, I would like to introduce myself, My name is Steve Komarinetz, I fish in eastern Connecticut out of a BassYaks Tarpon 140 during the warmer days and a Bassyaks Pungo 120 for the winter. I try to fish everyday either saltwater for stripers or fresh for LMB . I hope I can offer as much as I'll receive from this forum

Re: 1st post
Welcome Steve.
Where abouts in Ct do you live? I was born and lived in Naugatuck until I was 11. I fished many lakes/ponds back there and plenty of bluefish and stripers before we headed west. Ed

Re: 1st post
Ed, I live in Uncasville, Ct. on the Thames River. It's about 3 miles north from New London. The Thames River splits the two area casinos, Mohegan Sun and Foxwoods. The area is readly starting to grow (too much). The stripers are THICK this year, 200 schoolies on an outing is not unrealstic. The summer a 42incher was my best, and a 38inch blue which took 18 mins. to land and towed me over 800 yards, even with the Bassyaks motor on my Tarpon.
I rnjoy this site morso than outers, Perry seems to be a cool guy with plenty of neat ideas. Tightlines Steve BassYaks Tarpon 140 BassYaks Pungo 120 |

Re: 1st post
Steve,
to our forums and Thanks for the kudos. We've tried to do things a bit different here and have different sections and material that alot of the other kayak fishing websites don't have. We are lucky in that the guests and members that visit are top notch and really make it what it is. We just try to provide the framework and keep things flowing in the forums or by adding new content to the website as a whole. We have some new sections and improvements in our existing sections we will be making throughout next year and the site will evolve once again like it has a few times already. Please feel free to stop by anytime to ask a question, provide an answer, post a photo or two, or just stop by to see what's up. Take Care, Perry
