Do I have a chance?
Heres a picture of my 35 lb kaku I caught at Kaena Point. I used a dead opelu with wire leader and a tandem hook rig. Aloha, Rocket

Re: Do I have a chance?
Greetings and welcome to our forums. After a fast count, you have a 1 in 9 chance of winning something right now. I would consider that pretty darn good odds That's one nice looking fish also. A few of the anglers I have spoken to told me that one can get some really nice fish kayak fishing the Hawaiian Islands. Could this be called a typical catch for that area this time of year??

Re: Do I have a chance?
Aloha Perry,
Thanks for having me! Hawaii has some of the worlds best saltwater fishing. The Great barracuda can be caught all year long. This coast holds mahimahis, ahis, onos, and sharks. http://AQUAHUNTERS.com |

Re: Do I have a chance?
Rocket,
Great web site and club!!! I lived on Oahu for 10 years, plenty of surfing and spearfishing in those 10 years, and your reports/photos bring back many memories of the places we used to go for both! I still have lots of friends over there and we come back about every 1-2 years, gotta get my Opihi fill every year or so! Next time I come I may look you up and try one of your guided yak tours! Ed
