Newport Harbor 6-24

Meet up with Ray at the Coast Guard Station at 6am to show him park of the harbor as I know it.



We hit the water at 6:30ish and started fishing the small outgoing tide(still more fall then summer JUNE ahhhh)



Ray was picking off bass out of the eel grass then bam something else hit his bait



Short halibut on the buttered sexy smelt(Ray uses almost as much Uni Butter as I do and it shows he put me to shame in the morning)

We then moved up into the harbor and worked the moored boats to the pavilion. Then back to the launch site picking up a bass here and there
