Night Fishing
So what do I need to know for night fishing?? I went yesterday for the first time and didn't even get a bite, am I doing something wrong? If you've been fishing at night before, tell me about it. What kind of equipment do you use bait, lures, rods, lights, ANYTHING. It was still fun being on the water at night even though i didn't get a catch!!

Re: Night Fishing
I have not been yak fishing at night yet but I do go out on my Dad's boat at night. Mostly cause all the yahoos go home when the sun goes down. Any lure you use during the day should work at night. Also the black lures work best in full moonlight. The biggest key to success is a moving tide. When the tide is going in or out the fish like to feed. We also like to hit dock lights as snook are attracted to them.

Re: Night Fishing
yeah, it was really calm, not too much movement. i went out in the channel between the jetties but was getting pushed into the rocks too quickly to even fish. i definitely need to find somewhere with lights on the water. thanks again.
