Minnesota kayakers
I'm from the Mankato area and saw a kayak and that's pretty much what got me started in the hobby of fishing out of one. only had mine out a couple times but i'm wondering if there are many other Minnesotan yakkers out there. seems odd to me that I haven't seen more people out in them given I live in the land of 10,000 freakin lakes. I'm looking for suggestions of places to take a kayak around mankato. minnesota yakkers holla back...

Re: Minnesota kayakers
Any where there is water and you can have access!! Get after it. Ever been on White Fish Chain? I love it there... Mostly fish out of a PB... Big body of water.

Re: Minnesota kayakers
Have you guys read Kayak Angler Magazine? They have a really cool website. I started the Rochester Mn Kayak Association. Check it out.

Re: Minnesota kayakers
Hi pembertonian, my names Aaron. I kayak fish out of Rochester area. Pretty close. Have you been to the Faribault lakes? Here in Rochester we have the Zumbro river and mining pits

Re: Minnesota kayakers
Hey pembertonian you wouldn't happen to work for ISJ would you? I am in the Rochester area but have lived in Kato and Fairmont. Some good fishing over there. I have a boat over in Wabasha now and the river is GREAT fishing.
