A different kind of question .... maybe?
Hi, all, new here. I live in NC, but am originally from WV. I have a fishing/hunting camp in WV on the Greenbrier river between Alderson and Talcott. Anyway, I have a 17 foot Grumman canoe, but getting it in and out of the river near camp is a real pain, even for 2 people. I am looking into getting a kayak for fishing the river, as well as retrieving an occasional goose or duck we may shoot there. I see all sorts of options available: one seater, two seater, sit-in, sit-on, length, width, etc. I need a winter/summer kayak, fairly stable, something my 73 year old mother may be able to ride in thing. Any help?
Thanks in advance! Mike |

Re: A different kind of question .... maybe?
It depends if your mother is wants to kayak alone or with you. Tandem kayak is for more people the other you are referring to as two seater. There are plenty of good options in both single and tandem kayaks. Another question. Has your mother kayaked before ? If not then it is better to get kayak for beginners.
