Slayage at Huntington harbor 12/5
Hit the harbor around 7am to find light winds and clear water. Big out going this morning with water temp @54.
So i hadn't got a single bite for the first hour and a half and my back had been killing me. I actually was considering calling it a day but then I get one on the board and it's a nice legal. trip saved , I'll stay.. I get one more then I make a move to a spot were the current was ripping around heavy structure. First cast, Legal. Second cast, Legal. third and forth legals I get four legals in a row and begin to slay bass Mike Gardner style 8) I pulled 23 fish out of 1 spot, 9 of them were legals  ..... by far the best bay trip of the year I snapped a couple with my phone but was way too busy trying to stay on the bite to get any more Left them biting and made the miserable paddle against the outgoing back totals SBB-24 SB-1 GOOD times Joe

Awesome! I have heard nothing but slow reports out there and have not fished it myself in months. That looks like a really fun morning.

Very impressive!
I fished San Diego bay for a few hours yesterday evening for nada. Were they all spotties or were there a few sandies in the mix? |
