Carlsbad Perching.
Spent the day at the beach with the family last weekend. ...groomed windswell early and when the tide bottomed, we found a sweet hole where you could make a 20 foot cast from ankle high water and it was all you could catch perch. Perfect for getting the 3 year old hooked up on the noodle rod.

he is trouble. in the afternoon we were cruising the campground and he found this college girl on spring break and he picked her up with a line about how he loves fish. They're facebook friends now.
